A Gentle Soul

A word from the heart of God: A gentle soul.

The most beautiful souls are the ones that remain gentle after great pain and suffering. To me, that is beauty. When you look at a person and they have every reason to be cold, yet they choose kindness, love, and the belief that people can be better. They choose God over pain, suffering, and bitterness. Gentle in essence means kind, mild, soft, or calm, without using harshness, force, or violence. It doesn’t mean weak. On the contrary, it's actually a divinely beautiful superpower. Gentleness in the face of trial takes much maturity, self-control, grace, humility, and selflessness; all those characteristics equal beautiful strength. Strength that resembles Christ Himself. The peace of God can always be seen in a gentle soul.
