Reset
Have you ever pressed the reset button on an electronic device? You know, the button you press when something stops working and you softly begin to panic? Then you remember there’s a reset button that turns things off and reboots them so they can work properly again. I believe God designed a rebooting mechanism for us to access freely.
Captivate
Captivate is a beautiful word. It basically means to be enthralled by beauty or excellence. I believe it’s God’s desire to captivate our hearts with His beauty and His excellence. To be captivated by Jesus is to be held in a positive way. It does not mean to be imprisoned by Him but rather to be free because of His love and grace.
Old Wineskin
God has been ministering to me recently about releasing all old wine skins from my life. In essence, He is saying, “Out with the old and in with the new.” Matthew 9:17 says, “Nor is new wine put into old wineskins that have lost their elasticity; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the fermenting wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so both are preserved.” We can't put new ideas into old mindsets.
Peace over Chaos
Choose peace over drama and real over fake. Remember that not everyone deserves access to your life. You have to care about yourself enough to protect what’s yours. Your heart is your prized possession, so be careful with it. Guarding your peace is wise. Know your worth and try to remove toxicity from your life.
Self-Reliance
There are moments when I just sit with myself. I think about my past, and surprisingly, I don’t think too much about my future now. When deep suffering crosses your path, there’s an opportunity for something beautiful to happen. There’s this place within you that becomes so reliant on God, that it almost feels like you share one breath.
All New Pursuits
In order to understand this word to the fullest capacity, I believe we must first understand what the word “new” means. New primarily means having recently come into existence, discovered, or created. New means it’s never been used. Now, we must understand the word “pursuit.”
Make it Manifest
Such a powerful message today. When you think about manifestation, you should think about bringing something into physical reality. Each one of us is designed by God to carry a gift. This gift is very unique and belongs solely to us. A doctor is gifted with hands that heal.
When Things Quietly Finish
Sometimes in life, you're left holding a story with no ending. It’s not what you’ve seen for yourself, but it's your truth. Always remember the things you’ve experienced in life were real, they mattered. They changed you in some way, and for that they’re important regardless of the outcome because they’re your memories.
Dangling
Have you ever seen something dangling from somewhere? If you have, you know it grabs your attention because it’s swaying from side to side, swinging loosely like it’s about to fall. Today, I’m sensing that God may be using this word so we can take notice of something that may be dangling in front of us.
A Father's Love
A father's love is an anchor of steadfast guidance, silent sacrifice, and quiet support. It is a protective presence that often speaks through actions rather than words, building a lifelong foundation of strength, values, and security for his children.
Gift and Calling
I heard Dan Romer give a great example of the two, using David from the Bible. He said, “David was a musician; that was his gift. David’s calling with Kingship. He was called to be a King.” Could you imagine if David didn’t understand the difference between a gift and a calling?
The Power of Words
Words are a profound force. They do not merely describe reality; they shape it, carrying the capacity to heal, destroy, uplift, or limit. The bible views words as not just fleeting sounds, but as reflections of the heart that shape lives and carry immense spiritual weight, capable of creation, destruction, healing, and judgment. Words have tangible consequences.
Joy is found in who you share life with
I bet you’ve heard this saying before: You can tell a lot about a person by the 8 most important people they share their life with. In essence, that means you are who you surround yourself with.
A Guardrail
When my children were younger, I had guardrails on their beds. They were there as a precaution so that they would not fall out and harm themselves. I think sometimes we forget that Jesus warns us just as clearly as He makes promises to us.
Covenant Reward
In order to understand today’s word, you must understand what the word covenant means. In the Bible, a covenant is a binding, sacred agreement that establishes a permanent, relational partnership between God and humanity.
Living Present
The Bible teaches us that we should live in the present moment by actively trusting God today rather than being crippled by anxiety about tomorrow.
The altar within
What would happen if you truly understood that there was an altar within you? The altar within you represents the sacred space of your own consciousness, heart, and divine power. The Alter within you is a sacred space.
Meaningful
I heard someone say, “Send this question to someone you love: If I lost my memory tomorrow, what would be the first thing you would tell me about us?” How profoundly powerful is that question? It’s a good test to gauge where your legacy is in life.
Mistake versus Habit
A mistake is an action, decision, or judgment that is misguided, incorrect, or produces an unintended result. A habit is a settled or regular tendency, often an acquired behavior pattern that becomes nearly or completely involuntary through frequent repetition.
