I believe we are entering into a season where maturity will reign. Those who have so graciously moved in deceit, manipulation, and pride will be exposed.

Today, I’ve been sitting in memories surrounded by love. Profound love, pure love, love that has transcended time. Here is a question to ask yourself: What do you do when your favorite memories have a heartbeat?

The world says that accomplishment is measured in money, influence, vanity, even adoration, but nothing could be further from the truth. All those things just scratch the surface of true accomplishment.

When you defend something or someone, you protect them from an actual attack, a threat, from harm and/or criticism. There is a passage in Ezekiel 3:8 that speaks directly to firm resolve.

Be a person that others respect, not because of what you own, but rather for who you are. In my opinion, the highest form of adoration and respect comes from a person who is reconciled with God.

Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral or ethical principles that you refuse to change, even when no one is watching. A person of integrity would never say anything about someone that they wouldn't say directly to them.

Sometimes you just have to call things out for what they are. Laziness is laziness. Lack is lack. Betrayal is betrayal. Anger is anger. Bitterness is bitterness. Immaturity is immaturity. Dishonesty is dishonesty.

I don’t believe people truly understand the power and influence prayer has. The power of prayer comes from God, who hears and answers the petitions of believers. The strength of prayer rests entirely in God, who is able to do all things.

What if we began to see worldly things as background noise to the heavenly things that should be leading us? That means we stand in the truth of the word of God against supernatural principalities that are determined to distract us, frustrate us, and steal what God has predestined for us.

In Matthew 5:28, Jesus states that anyone who looks at a woman with “lustful intent” has already committed adultery with her in his heart. You are responsible for governing your eyes, your mind, and your mouth.

Esther was a courageous Jewish orphan who became the Queen of Persia and saved her people from a genocidal plot. She risked her life by approaching the king unsummoned, and she famously stated, “If I perish, I perish.”

The most beautiful souls are the ones that remain gentle after great pain and suffering. To me, that is beauty. When you look at a person and they have every reason to be cold, yet they choose kindness, love, and the belief that people can be better.

I heard a Pastor say, “I owe you love, but access to me has to be earned through consistency, faithfulness, and godliness.” He said to stop letting your heart be a freeway for every single person.

I believe that many of us who have gone through deep suffering survived that darkness so we can be a witness to others, so they too can come out of it with God.

Silence is a beautiful thing, one that I believe we don’t truly appreciate. The truth is, God is never silent. He is always moving, speaking, creating, and transforming.

I believe God wants us to be the kind of people who follow through with things. Have you ever met someone who starts strong but never finishes them? If you have, you can probably relate to the saying: “Don’t start what you can’t finish.”

Have you ever wanted to go outside, but it was raining so you changed your plans and stayed inside? Inside was safer, warmer, drier, and better.

God’s word is infallible. That means it can never return void and it can never fail. When God speaks, He watches over His word throughout time to make sure His word becomes exactly what He said it would be.

Lament means to feel or express deep sorrow, grief, or regret. Lamenting is grief. It’s a way in which you honestly acknowledge the pain of your past. The thing about lamenting is that it’s attached to hope.

When you go through the fire, you come out a new person. I believe that with all my heart. Suffering can be looked at like a door. Many decide not to go through the door, but rather numb themselves to avoid the pain.
