A Guarding of the Heart

A word from the heart of God: A guarding of the heart.

We must always remember that we are God's child first. That means when you come before Him in prayer as a wife, husband, mother, father, grandparent, sibling, or friend to someone, He sees you first as His child and then as who you are at the present time you are praying. Time in Heaven is a continued sense of sequential events or duration, but without the negative earthly pressures of aging, decay, or stress. Wherever God's presence is, so is time. I say all this because we forget that God is burdened when we, as His children, are weary. He never desires that you push self-care to the side for others. You must first care for your mind, your body, and your soul before you lift up another in prayer. Enter into prayer with a personal petition first, allowing God to minister to you, His child, then move into prayers for others. God is pleased when your heart is settled within His heart. “For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” Jeremiah 31:25.

You are loved, Kris
