Decree

A word from the heart of God: Decree. 

A decree is an authoritative enforcement of what is already legally established. The keyword is established! In scripture, Kings made decrees because they had jurisdiction. So when you decree something, you must understand the jurisdiction you have to do so. When you decree something, you enforce what Christ has already purchased. You must take the authority of the name Jesus Christ, and decree something with that legally established authority. An example would be: You say, “By the authority of Jesus Christ, this chain is broken.” You cannot decree what God has not authorized. Decrees must be rooted in scripture and aligned with God’s Perfect Will. We don’t decree our ego. We decree God’s word. To decree something means you enforce spiritual authority over it. Amen to that!
