Defend Your Faith
A word from the heart of God: Defend your faith.
When you defend something or someone, you protect them from an actual attack, a threat, from harm and/or criticism. There is a passage in Ezekiel 3:8 that speaks directly to firm resolve. It describes God making a prophet's face “strong against their faces” to give them courage and spiritual strength to stand firm against opposition. Standing in firm resolve, defending your faith does not mean diluting who you are as a child of God. It does not give you permission to move in unyielding anger, judgment, pride, cruelty, and self-righteousness. Instead, it becomes an opportunity to be a visible example of your indebtedness to whom you surrender to — showing humility, love, and strength. Shine brightly, showing off the Glory of God while standing strong in His strength to defend your faith.
You are loved, Kris
