Deposit

A word from the heart of God: Deposit.

When you go to a bank, you make a deposit into your savings account. The money is placed or kept in a bank account, usually to gain interest. I believe God is asking you, where are you making deposits in your life? Are the areas where you are making deposits gaining interest? Meaning: are they fruitful? Will they multiply? Are you depositing your time and resources in things that help you or are you depositing into things that may hurt you? How about the deposits in people? God's heart is one that always loves and encourages, but some people are just not ready to make healthy life choices and you have to use wisdom about depositing into them. Some relationships can be very unhealthy. “Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us." 2 Timothy 1:14. Another word for deposit could be treasure. You are important to God. You are His treasure. Make wise life deposits in family, friends, finances, and faith.
