Effective communication requires two participants, both of which listen to the other person's perspective. We can not allow people to bait us into an emotionally reactive state; instead, boundaries must be enforced. You may want to consider minimizing your communication with anyone who is not mature enough to know how to communicate and listen to truths. These are people who are self centered, entitled, forever the victim, they take no accountability for their actions and they blame the ones they supposedly love for their problems. I heard someone say that selfish people don’t care that your fighting with them, they only want you to fight for them. They only actually only care when you realize that they're not important enough to fight with anymore. God’s principles are clear and should never be diluted. You are not responsible for carrying another person. God and only only can do that. You can communicate with others as long as that communication is healthy, effective, and reciprocal. We must be Christ-centered and surround ourselves with those who are genuinely seeking to be reconciled with Christ. With Christ at the core, humility, love, selflessness, and maturity will be clearly visible. Many people these days have willingly housed demonic travelers who journey with them daily, prowling diligently to destroy goodness and righteousness. Be aware; the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy!
