In the midst

A word from the heart of God: In the midst.

Sometimes there is so much going on in life that we miss what is happening in the midst of things. I have a perfect example. We are moving into a new office. As many of you probably know, moving can be chaotic. In the midst of getting everything settled, working on computer setups and internet issues, we received two little visitors. My granddaughter and my brother's grandson. My sister-in-law grabbed my arm and said, “Come with me, I want to show you something.” Our two little people were sitting on each other's laps, playing a coloring game together, lovingly engaged with each other and completely oblivious to everything that was going on around them. It was a beautiful example of love standing still in the midst of a touch of chaos. I pray that you are reminded today that no matter what you are facing, God is always in the midst of it and wherever God is, there is love, goodness, and divine peace.
