It’s time to turn

A word from the heart of God; It’s time to turn. 

What does it mean to turn? It means moving something so that it’s in a different direction. Too often, people think that an apology is enough but what is true repentance? Repentance isn’t just an apology, it’s a turn in behavior. Repentance is taking your mind, your heart, your body and taking your life in a totally different direction. The key to repentance is saying Lord, I repent, I’m sorry, I will go in the opposite direction of my sin. The Lord is saying it’s time to turn today. The devil loves to use arrogance, pride, lack of humility to stifle a miracle that God may have in a holding pattern for you. We serve a God who moves. He doesn’t wait around until you turn; He’s moving. It’s up to you to say I’m really arrogant, prideful, even lustful in this area of my life, Lord, and I am turning from my sin. Humble down and move with God. Once you turn, He will fill that vacant space within you with His joy, His peace, and His love. It’s time to turn!
