Keep Contending
A word from the heart of God: Keep Contending.
My spiritual father, Bishop Joseph Mattera, recently wrote in a post, “Let’s keep contending for truth, revival, and transformation wherever God sends us. Could you imagine if we all truly embraced a mindset that aligned with a keep contending wherever God sends you heart posture? If we all had a common goal for revival, for truth, and for transformation, not only for an individual but for society. Contending is such a powerful word. It basically means to deal with, cope with, or struggle against something difficult, unpleasant, or challenging, like a problem, obstacle, or rival, often requiring effort or skill to manage or overcome. The Bible teaches us that hardship is inevitable. Trials and tests will refine our faith building, perseverance, and character. James 1:2-4 says, "Count it all joy when you meet trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." This heart posture is not easy, but through the lens of heaven, it is doable. Let’s contend together wherever we are sent to bring forth truth, revival, and transformation.
You are loved, Kris
