Love Where You Are

A word from the heart of God; Love where you are.

My friend Jonathan Patternson recently wrote a strong post. This was the takeaway: Love where you are. Don’t be discouraged by empty rhetoric. You are enough, and God sees you. Don’t rush your process—embrace the journey. Be content where you’re called to serve and refuse to compare yourself to those with visibility. I believe this is something everyone needs to embrace. We often underestimate God as if God needs social media to elevate us. Your truest form of worship is done in secret. It is there that God sees your true heart, your trustest devotion and your love. Love where you are because if you are there genuinely with God, there is no richer place to be. God knows what He wants and He understands His timing much more than we do. Instead of seeking empty spaces with empty people, seek purity at heart, kindness, gentleness, maturity, self-control, wisdom, true friendships, genuine laughter, mercy, and Christ-like love. The devil may have distracted you with lies but today, see truth. Love God and Love His people! Be at peace knowing your obedience matters. You are seen by God and you matter to God.

You are loved, Kris
