Mistake Versus Pattern

A word from the heart of God: Mistake versus pattern. 

As you journey through life, it’s extremely important to understand that there may be people in your life who will just make mistakes. These mistakes are not intentional; they are just part of that person’s walk. In these situations, grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness should be extended. On the other hand, there may be other people who habitually move in sinful patterns. A pattern is different than a mistake. A pattern highlights a truth that some people refuse to learn from their mistakes. In those cases, discernment and wisdom are necessary because safety is mandatory. You must protect your heart, and in doing so, you must discern properly the difference between a person who makes a mistake and a person who continuously moves in patterns.
