Patterns

A word from the heart of God; Patterns. 

I heard Colby Maier say; Patterns speak louder than promises. When you think about that, you're reminded that Jesus said by their fruit, you will know them. That’s really powerful. Fruit is the proof in life. Consistent action is far more telling than promising words. I would encourage you to stop depending on the words of a person when their actions communicate another narrative. What a person does reveals far more about their character, intentions, and reliability than what they say they will do. Patterns are important because they don’t lie. Learn to observe patterns of behavior not from a place of judgment but rather from a place of discernment. God wants you to see the best in others but He tells us to use wisdom and seek counsel for good reason. “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you." 2 Thessalonians 3:16. Surround yourself with people whose patterns in life result in God's love and God's peace.
