Possess the land
A word from the heart of God: Possess the land.
I read a post by Pastor Greg Locke and he said, “To possess the land means to CONTEND with the GIANTS.” We often think that if God has given something to us, we should have it without a fight. But when God gave the Children of Israel the Promised Land, they had to not only go and possess it, they also had to go and fight for it. God promised them victory, but the victory had to be won in battle. That’s why God told them in Deuteronomy 2:24: “Arise, set out, and pass through the valley of Arnon. Look! I have given Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land into your hand; begin to take possession and contend with him in battle.” We have to possess active faith, obedience, and courage; this is required to claim God's promises. While God provides the blessing, we as believers are responsible for stepping out, taking action, and "fighting" against the spiritual or physical obstacles (the giants) blocking our inheritance. It’s time to possess the land.
You are loved, Kris
