A word from the heart of God: Search me, Lord.
“Search my heart” is a famous biblical prayer from Psalm 139:23-24, where King David asks God to examine his inner thoughts, expose hidden faults, and guide him toward righteousness. I believe we’re entering a season when the Lord desires that we take the time to sit with ourselves and seek Him for divine revelation, revealing some of the areas in our lives that He wants to restore, redeem, release, and/or ignite. In the Bible, David was referred to as a man after God's own heart. That is by far the greatest compliment in the entire world. I believe David achieved that intimacy with God by humbly asking God, as seen in Psalms. “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” This takes a lot of bravery, but if you really want to see transformation, this is the type of prayer you may want to consider praying.
You are loved, Kris
