The Spirit of the Lord

A word from the heart of God; The Spirit of the Lord. 

Your spirit emerges as the deepest essence of your connection with God. When you accept Jesus into your heart, your spirit comes alive, offering peace, discernment, and revelation. Your spirit creates an environment where communion with God is possible. It also opens up a doorway for spiritual gifts to be released and activated. Living through your spirit requires you to align your soul and your body to operate within God's Will. Understanding your spirit will require you to study God's word. When you do that, God's truth is revealed, and in that truth, divine purpose is illuminated. When you trust in God's word, you are anchored and rooted in God's truth; hence, feelings and emotions can not sway, too, as life presents its challenges. Isaiah 11:2 says, “The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD.” Be content today as you rest in the beautiful spirit of the Lord that lives within you.
