Transactional Relationships

A word from the heart of God: Transactional relationships. 

I see so many people on social media talking about love without recognizing that the love they're expressing appears to be transactional. It’s easy for a person who doesn’t value real love to overlook genuine efforts and the sacrifices of others. People like this take people who offer selfless love, loyalty, and commitment for granted.  A person who loves genuinely and wholeheartedly understands that love is based on mutual care and respect and seeks to love unconditionally, holding mature standards of honor and integrity in a relationship. Those who are incapable of loving someone genuinely and selflessly may discard and devalue you. These people approach relationships purely as transactional and are focused on what they can take rather than emotional connection. Take a good look at your life. If you are surrounded by true love, care, and devotion, you earned that because of the beautiful person you are. If someone mistreats you and takes your love for granted, they suffer most because they miss out on the opportunity for deep meaningful connections. While they are trapped in their self-centered mindset, you will be flourishing in the freedom and peace followed by righteousness, purity, honesty, and goodness. You will always win when you strive to have a godly posture.
