Unmask

A word from the heart of God: Unmask.

When you unmask something, you reveal its hidden truth. Instead of seeing what the devil wants you to see, I believe God wants you to see something completely different. God wants us to fight the battles we face with such maturity in Him that victory is inevitable. In order to tell the difference between the voice of God and the lie of the devil, you must first allow God to reveal truth to you. God never hides who He is. He is fully transparent. “In hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began.” Titus 1:2. The devil can, and does, lie. John 8:44 says, “There is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” God is good; He is a perfect gift from above. Satan, the devil, is a malevolent, rebellious force and the personification of evil. Assess your battles and label them clearly. One player's goal is to help you, love you, guide you, and redeem you; that would be God. The other player's goal is to lie to you, destroy you, convince you that you are nothing, and ultimately kill you; that would be Satan. God is unmasking truth today.
