Untruths

A word from the heart of God; Untruths. 

The Bible says in Proverbs 6:16-19, “There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” The devil is a liar. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Proverbs 6:16-19 is a foundational truth. We must ground ourselves in the word of God so the word of God becomes our beacon of light in the midst of temptation and darkness. Your actions must always align with your words. You can scale truth in your life by fruit. “So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” Colossians 1:10. The key word is fully pleasing to Him. Deceit is not pleasing to God, selfishness is not pleasing to God, pride and judgment are not pleasing to God. God's word is pleasing to God, and those who genuinely emulate it are those like David, who have a heart after God's own heart.
