When God gives you a gift
A word from the heart of God; When God gives you a gift.
During the course of my life I can specifically recall times when, without a shadow of a doubt, God gave me a gift. A gift from God is different than a blessing or even a miracle. It’s usually something so specific that it aligns so personally with something you asked for. The truth is it doesn’t matter the size of the gift, for the ones I have received from God have been drastically different in worldly monetary value yet that didn’t matter. What matters and has been most valuable to me until this day and will continue for the rest of my days was that personal touch from God I received. I can’t even fathom how with the billions and billions of people on this planet that God can somehow manage to touch each and every one of us personally. That is by far the most beautiful thing on this planet. In His sovereignty, He seeks to give personal gifts so intimate, so pure, so divine that they change you at the core for the rest of your life. Today, I come before you, pleading with you to humble yourself before the Lord, so that you can be in a posture to receive a gift from Him. “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38.
