When We Pray

A word from the heart of God: When we pray.

I don’t believe people truly understand the power and influence prayer has. The power of prayer comes from God, who hears and answers the petitions of believers. The strength of prayer rests entirely in God, who is able to do all things. God typically answers prayers in three ways: yes, no, or wait. Prayer builds an intimate relationship and connection with God. Romans 8:26 says, “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” Humbling ourselves before God and praying in the Spirit powerfully moves the heavens. Pray, pray, and pray some more!
