Willful Determination

A word from the heart of God: Willful determination. 

When you are determined, you have made a firm decision and you don’t plan on changing your mind. Most of us are determined in life. I think most people would say they are determined to have a happy marriage or that they are determined to be a good parent. Some would say they are determined to finish school and others may be determined to be successful in their career. Being determined is a good thing, but if you add willfulness to that determination, it becomes powerful. Willful means you are intentional, persistent, even headstrong. Moving with God usually attracts adversity. The devil doesn’t like it when God blesses His children. Today, God is pushing you a little to willfully pursue the vision He placed in your heart. Being just determined may not be enough. He is preparing you for possible adversity and expecting you to push back and push through. Being a little headstrong is not a bad thing, especially when you are pursuing the things of God. Here’s to being divinely and willfully determined.
