You Deserve Better
A word from the heart of God; You deserve better.
Has anyone ever told you this? If they have, it was probably difficult for you to hear because it may mean you believe that you have settled for less than what you deserve. I’m reminded that God is no respecter of man. Which means you don’t deserve more than me. We are loved unconditionally by Him, hence we all deserve the goodness of God. With that said, we must understand that God says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” This is truth, and its purpose is not to cause pain but rather to guide. If two people love each other but their moral and spiritual compass is polar opposites, where do you think that relationship will end? This is why God should be placed above all. Above our marriages, our friendships, our businesses, our careers, and even our children. If God is above all then you will receive from God his favor, mercy, grace, and blessings. If you seek to strive for this you will not settle for anything less than goodness, righteousness, integrity, honesty, and holiness. Let the beautiful light of Christ be the example of what you deserve.
