A Shared Day

A word from the heart of God: A Shared Day.

When something is shared, it means it’s joined. Today is Mother's Day and it’s also my son Jared’s birthday. My heart is flooded with so many beautiful and hard memories. As I sit in a wind of emotions, I am reminded by God of the true meaning of beauty. No one defines for God His concept of beauty. If a person is beautiful to God, he fits God’s concept of beauty. Nothing in a person’s outward appearance impresses God. God looks upon the inner beauty, the beauty of one’s heart. Noah’s implicit trust in God led him to construct a gigantic boat miles from water, that is beauty. Abraham trusted God’s promise so implicitly that he would have sacrificed his son of promise without hesitation, that is beauty. Moses yielded total control of his life to God and became the man of meekness, that is beauty. Beauty is only seen through a genuine posture of love and purity; nothing else can truly hold its divine intention. A mother is designed to be the beholder of heavenly beauty as she selflessly steps aside to ensure that all her children surpass her, that is beauty. Blessings to all on this Mother's Day.
