Adding value
A word from the heart of God: Adding value.
What happens when you add something to something? The easiest answer is, you increase it, you enlarge it, you enhance it. What does the word value mean according to the Bible? In the Bible, value is defined by God’s perspective rather than material wealth, focusing on inherent worth, spiritual significance, and sacrificial love. Today's word is very special. I sense God reminding us that as vessels for Him, He expects us to ADD (increase, enlarge, enhance) to people’s lives. To carry a Godly perspective that seeks to bring forth VALUE; inherent worth, spiritual significance, and sacrificial love to those we come in contact with. Could you imagine what the world would look like if we actually, truly desired to add value to another person’s life? “Love thy neighbor as thyself” is identified by Jesus as the second greatest commandment, encapsulating the essence of moral law alongside loving God. This extends beyond those close to us to include strangers, people of different backgrounds, and even enemies. It requires active, tangible support for others, including compassion, humility, and patience. Let's add and not subtract. Adding Value is a beautiful commandment!
You are loved, Kris
