A thread

A word from the heart of God; A thread.

Have you ever seen a handmade blanket? It’s so beautiful. I made one a very long time ago for my mother. It took me months to make but in the end it was worth the effort because it’s one of a kind. The beautiful thing about something that is handmade is the fact that it’s an original and no other one exists in the world. Today, I am sensing God using the word thread as a way to remind us that we are one body in Christ. We are uniquely created as individuals and thread together divinely through the spirit of God that unifies us all. “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free and all were made to drink of one Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:12-13. We are made to drink of one spirit. Our spirits are the common thread between all of us. Corinthians 12:27 says, “Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” Powerful, one body comprised of beautiful individual members. We are one divine thread.

You are loved, Kris
