Covenant Reward

A word from the heart of God: Covenant Reward. 

In order to understand today’s word, you must understand what the word covenant means. In the Bible, a covenant is a binding, sacred agreement that establishes a permanent, relational partnership between God and humanity. I learned something profound from my friend Shayne Payne, who wrote the book Covenant.  He said, “Following Jesus often requires sacrifice.” Jesus promised that nothing surrendered for his sake is ever lost. Mark 10: 29-30 declares, “No one who has left the house for my sake, shall not receive a hundredfold now and in the age to come and eternal life.” This is a profound promise, but there is a condition. The condition is that you must be willing to surrender anything that Jesus requires. This promise comes with persecutions because the enemy resists those who walk in covenant reward. Walk boldly, my friends.
