Exploration

A word from the heart of God: Exploration.

Explore is different than Journey. When you explore, you investigate, examine, research, and probe. When you journey, you travel, voyage, or trek. I believe this word today is being sent to prompt a self-examining exploration. Almost like God wants us to probe our deep places within. Deep places are not always easy to see because pain can sometimes be connected to them. The Bible says in Matthew 5:37, “Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.” I think a great place to start as you embark upon self-exploration would be to ask this question: What are the areas in my life where I move in a lukewarm status? As you can see from this scripture, lukewarm means sin. Our yes must be yes and our no must be no. There should be no area of worldly compromise when it comes to God. Explore well, family.
