Complacency
A word from the heart of God: Complacency.
When you are complacent, it means being self-satisfied and unconcerned, often to a fault, feeling so pleased with your current situation or achievements that you stop striving for improvement or ignore potential problems, even when dangers or deficiencies exist. God calls us to active Faith. He urges us not to be lukewarm in life. Complacency can be dangerous. The Bible says complacency is a foolish state of self-satisfied laziness that leads to destruction, spiritual ruin, and divine judgment. “For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them.” Proverbs 1:32. God encourages believers to “stir up” their faith, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 1:6, and to “draw near” to Him, rather than being passive. Resist the urge to be complacent.
You are loved, Kris
