Extension

A word from the heart of God: Extension.

When I hear this word, I immediately think of an extension cord. An extension cord allows you to plug something into a power outlet by extending the reach of the power through the extension cord. Maybe that is what God is trying to relay to us today. Maybe we should be more mindful of the divine power sources that are all around us and begin to plug ourselves into them more. Maybe if that was our focus, the divine power source we have access to would then be extended to others, releasing the Power of God. “Live in me, and I will live in you. A branch cannot produce any fruit by itself. It has to stay attached to the vine. In the same way, you cannot produce fruit unless you live in me.” John 15:4. All power comes from the spirit of God that lives within us. It’s time to extend that to others.
