A word from the heart of God: Tender.
The holidays can be difficult for so many people, especially those who have lost a loved one. I myself have been touching a lot of tender emotions lately. I miss my son Jared tremendously and I hurt as I miss my son-in-law as well. The pain is even greater as I see firsthand the suffering my daughter and granddaughter go through daily. Life isn’t always fair, but fair isn’t what we should strive for. Proverbs 16:11 says, “A just balance and scales are the Lord's; all the weights in the bag are his work.” We are to count all things good. Romans 8:28 states that "all things work together for good" for those who love God. Seek to find all the tender moments that life has to offer. Hold them dear and store them up well, for they are your prized possessions. Tender moments are God's Gifts to us.
