Extracting
Powerful word today and one that I’m taking to heart personally. When you extract something, you remove or take out, especially by effort or force. Jeremiah 15:19 says, “How the LORD responds: “If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you!” The beautiful thing about God is that He never gives up on anything. If you seek Him, He will extract good from even the most hopeless situation. God can restore anyone and anything. In Jeremiah 15:19, God responds in love and compassion to Jeremiah’s pain and turmoil, but He asks hence calls him to return to the passion and purity of the message he has been given and to love for those he is carrying the message to. We must not allow our hearts to stray from the agape love of God that passionately prays and delivers truth out of the depths of His love and not the frustration and turmoil of our souls. We must extract the precious goodness resembled by and through our Lord from every worldly challenging situation.
You are loved, Kris
