Virtue

The word virtue means behavior showing high moral standards. Lately, I’ve been sensing God prompting toward self-reflection toward one’s standards. When you have a standard in life, another person’s behavior should not be able to dilute your personal standard. Most people believe they have good morals and high standards, but until tested, you really can’t be sure. The fastest way to access your personal standards would be to analyze the fruit in your life. When God blesses you, you see consistent fruit. God's standards are high; they are holy perfection! Jesus summarizes these high standards in two simple commands. In Matthew 22:35-40, it says, “Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind and love your neighbor as yourself.” Powerful moral standard right there. The only way to truly adhere to Godly virtues is not to conform yourselves to the standards of this world but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. When you have a transformed mind, you quickly decern God's will and God's righteousness for your life.

You are loved, Kris
