From the Beginning to the End

A word from the heart of God: From the beginning to the end.

I believe God wants us to be the kind of people who follow through with things. Have you ever met someone who starts strong but never finishes them? If you have, you can probably relate to the saying: “Don’t start what you can’t finish.” The bible warns that failing to finish what you start brings public foolishness and shame. In Luke 14:28-30, Jesus asks who would start building a tower without first checking if they have enough money. He explains that laying a foundation and failing to finish causes people to mock the builder. We must remember that there’s value in completing something. Ecclesiastes 7:8 states that the end of a matter is better than its beginning. God always finishes what He starts; hence, we should honor Him with our faithfulness to complete what we start.
