Stay inside

A word from the heart of God: Stay inside.

Have you ever wanted to go outside, but it was raining so you changed your plans and stayed inside? Inside was safer, warmer, drier, and better. Today I’m sensing God saying: No matter what, stay inside my Will. What does it mean to stay inside of the Will of God? Scripture shows us that the Will of God centers on faith in Jesus Christ, personal holiness, and a thankful attitude in all circumstances. “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:17. Clearly, God refers to choices made to move outside of the will of God as foolishness. We see that in sexual immorality, lust, greed, envy, unforgiveness, anger, and bitterness. All those things get you further away from God, while goodness, purity, and selflessness draw you closer to Him. Stay inside God's Will and watch your life flourish.
