A word from the heart of God: God always balances the scales.
What does that actually mean? Does God punish those who hurt us? Does He do to them what they’ve done to us? God is sovereign; hence, He doesn’t respond to matters in a human way. When God balances the scales, He brings forth revelation, conviction, accountability, transparency, and ultimately divine justice according to His Will. The heart of God is one that desires a heavenly equilibrium. That doesn’t mean the equilibrium is always visibly noticeable between you and the party who wounded you, but it does mean God is working to bring forth a balance that pleases Him. The most beautiful thing about God is that He redeems, which means He delivers us from sin. So the next time betrayal, deceit, injustice, lack of appreciation, and dishonor cross your path, remember, God always balances the scales in a righteous and eternal way.
