A word from the heart of God: God's promises come with persecution.

In Mark 10:29-30, Jesus promises that anyone who sacrifices their home or family for His sake and the gospel will receive a “hundredfold” return in this present life (in the form of a spiritual community) alongside persecution, and ultimately, eternal life in the age to come. This promise comes with persecution because the enemy resists those who walk in covenant reward. Hardship is part of the cost, but we must remain focused on the ultimate reward outside of the hundredfold return here on earth, which is the inheritance of eternal life in heaven.
