Gracious

A word from the heart of God; Gracious.

There is this beautiful scripture that is used often at church as a blessing over you. Numbers 6:24-26, “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” Amen. This blessing proclaims the favour of God, it suggests that if God smiles on you, He is pleased. The Lord will purposely cause His face to shine. To shine literally means it is like the breaking of the new day, He is illuminated. He shines on us with favour and that shine overflows graciously upon us. May you walk in the beautiful, gracious shine of God. May you walk in His goodness and grace, shining brightly to others, showing all you encounter God's bright light of hope and everlasting life and the eternal love of Christ.
