Suffering is not permanent

A word from the heart of God; Suffering is not permanent.

Dylan Daniel posted this: “Suffering is not permanent; it’s a passing shadow in the greater light of God’s favor. Pain teaches us, humbles us, and refines us, but it is never the end of the story. Just as night gives way to dawn, our darkest moments are only temporary stages before the joy that follows. The philosophy here is one of hope; no matter the trial, joy will return. Every tear shed is a seed for future laughter. The more we endure, the greater our capacity for rejoicing.” This resonated so beautifully with my heart today. Every tear shed is a seed for future laughter. Pain has taken on a new meaning for me since it’s been the catalyst for divine revelation in my life. In my darkest of moments the only small glimmer of light came from the promises of God that I held on to for dear life. Suffering is not permanent, but it can leave permanent scars. One of the greatest lessons I learned was that God is magnified in pain and suffering. You can magnify Him in a bad way and blame Him, or you can magnify Him in a good way and praise Him; the choice is yours. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord” Psalm 150:6. I have chosen with every breath I take, to breathe with God and that choice has magnified God in my life in ways I’ve never imagined.

You are loved, Kris
