Healing is like a shoreline

A word from the heart of God: Healing is like a shoreline.

I heard someone say that healing is like standing on the beach, with the waves facing your back. There are days when you may feel like a small wave brushes against your ankles; those are the good days. There are other days when out of nowhere, you feel like a huge wave hits you from behind and knocks you down face-first. In the moment, you may feel like you're drowning, but you're not — it’s just a moment. This is what the healing journey looks like. I have found that healing is not a straight line. Today's word is a beautiful reminder that healing can be seen as a shoreline. Some days the waves are small, while other days they seem much larger. As WE walk along the healing shoreline, please remember that we never walk alone. Matthew 28:20 says, “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Profound words here: “Always to the end of time.”

You are loved, Kris
