In the silence

A word from the heart of God: In the silence.

I believe that we underestimate the power within silence. Silence can help us channel inner peace while emphasizing the importance of finding God in quietness. There is great wisdom in restraining speech, waiting on the Lord, and quieting ourselves down in stillness. Exodus 14:14 says, “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” We have only to be silent. This is not a suggestion, it’s a command. There is power within the silence. It is in the silence where we find peace, and in that peace, we learn that the true fight is fought in a divine realm. God is always working. Everything has purpose when you trust the process. “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end — it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3. Learn to cherish silence, self-care, and stillness, it will serve you well in life.
