In advance

A word from the heart of God: In advance.

Doing things in advance is wise. Too many people coast through life, never really moving with intention. Being intentional includes planning and discernment. The Bible encourages us to seek counsel to avoid failure. We are supposed to move in community with one another. “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” Proverbs 15:22. Seeking advisors is wise and preparing in advance shows insight. Preparation keeps you alert and when you are alert, you will find that there are opportunities all around you. I see it as “keeping faith active.” “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10. Be prepared in advance, seek opportunities, and keep your faith active!

You are loved, Kris
