Insincere

A word from the heart of God: Insincere.

It's my belief that God will never bless the phony. You can’t pretend with God. God is sovereign and He sees all. I would encourage you to be your authentic self. The bible defines true authenticity not as following your own impulses, but rather embracing the unique identity and purpose God created for you. Psalm 51:6 says, “Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place." God delights in absolute honesty and truth in your inner self. Performing for others means you're performing to God as well. People who truly own who they are don't make excuses for their shortfalls; they are transparent about them and take immediate accountability for the errors of their ways. I think one of the greatest compliments a person can give you is one that recognizes your maturity, your self-control, and your selflessness.
