Learn to live with what still hurts

A word from the heart of God: Learn to live with what still hurts.

The holidays are exceptionally hard for my family as we are still carrying the pain of the loss of our boys. As I prayed for strength, endurance, and joy, the Lord gently reminded me that time doesn’t heal everything. Time doesn’t ease pain; it just teaches you how to carry pain differently. Learning how to live with what still hurts helps you control your day rather than it controlling you. The key is truly allowing yourself to believe in the hope of a better tomorrow while still living with the pain you carry in the present day. Pain and progress can co-exist. I encourage you to embrace your pain as sacred because of the deep sacrifice it costs you. Allow God to hold it with you, and through Him, comfort and strength can be found. Stop trying to feel nothing; instead, learn how to live with what still hurts. In your weakness, God is made strong!

You are loved, Kris
