Legacy

A word from the heart of God; Legacy. 

The other day I gazed at my beautiful daughter in awe at the wonderful mother she has become. Under the most rigid and traumatic circumstances, she has managed to grow even more beautiful. My daughter is proof alone that God exists. Her ability to selflessly love in the midst of the dark storm of her life shows the light of God's love glistening through her for all to see. Legacy isn’t merely assets and money, it’s much, much more. Legacy is seeing your past, present, and future through the eyes of your child. It’s getting a glimpse of integrity and humility that took you years to acquire that comes with ease to your child. Legacy is tangible love that you can see through the actions of your child. We should never get distracted by the stuff we leave to our children but rather focus on the memories we are creating with them, for them, and ultimately the ones we get to see and cherish while we are with them!
