Maturity
A word from the heart of God; Maturity.
It’s my opinion that maturity is exposed in change. If you want to gauge how emotionally mature you are, look at your conduct when difficult change crosses your path. This is a hard reality check but important if growth is something you seek. My brother always says there are two kinds of people in the world and he refers to the term fight or flight. There are those who fly away when hard stuff crosses their path and then there are those who fight. God created us to be equipped for anything. “That the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:17. The key word is "Good Work." We are always equipped to do good. It is when we allow pride, judgment, deceit, and envy into our hearts that our proximity to God gets farther away rather than intimately close. I encourage you to seek maturity in Christ. It’s painful at times because it requires selflessness and sacrifice, but it’s worth it. Being emotionally mature is a gift, one that God honors greatly. God is always seeking to use those that He can trust with wisdom and your commitment to growth, honesty, purity, and righteousness is a wonderful start as you embark upon a genuine quest for emotional maturity
You are loved, Kris
