A word from the heart of God: Mistakes.

I heard someone say that a mistake repeated more than once is a decision. A mistake repeated more than twice is a habit. A mistake repeated more than three times is character. Mistakes happen, we’re all human. Today, we are reminded that God is a God of mercy, grace, forgiveness, and love. I believe today’s word is a word that can minister to the inner core of many. We’re supposed to learn from our mistakes. We’re supposed to repent and show true remorse. If we do that, we align with God and transformation and redemption are possible. A mistake that is repeated over and over again is no longer a mistake; it’s a part of who you are. Truth is painful, but it’s also powerful. Ephesians 4:22-24 encourages us to take off the old self and put on the new self, created to be like God.
