Movement

A word from the heart of God: Movement.

When I think of the word movement, I immediately think of exercise. Every gym instructor will tell you, just keep moving. Sometimes in life, we get stuck in a place. Your mind tells you to move but your emotions create a roadblock. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:4 that there is “A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” This is very powerful because it speaks directly to the seasons in our lives. The world moves every day and that is reflective of the seasons we experience. God is a God who, at any given time, moves in the past, the present, and the future. When He looks upon you, He sees your entire life in its entirety, not just the day you are in. Trusting God means you learn to reach out for His promises in the seasons when you feel stuck and you speak those promises over your life. If you do that, movement will naturally happen because God's word will never return void. It’s a time to move, but not as you see it but rather in accordance to the promises of God. Move your natural eyes aside and start seeing with divine ones.

You are loved, Kris
