Work and Job
A word from the heart of God; Work and Job.
I attended a conference yesterday and while I was there one of the speakers referenced the difference between work and a job. A job is a form of employment. It is something you do that provides a resource for things you need. A job is something that you can get fired from, but work is different. The Bible says in Psalms 90:17, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us — yes, establish the work of our hands.” Work is something that you can never be fired from because work, according to God, is established by Him. My job is running a real estate company while my work is in the ministry of 90secswithGod. This was such a beautiful revelation. You will have many jobs, but your work for the Lord will always revolve around your gifts from the Lord. I pray that the works of our hands are always a beautiful blessing to the Lord. May you always honor Him in them with love and excellence.
