A word from the heart of God: Offense breeds deception.

I’m sharing a post today written by Joni. “When we hold onto offense, it creates a hardened heart within us that opens a door for the enemy’s lies and deception. Our perception becomes altered by hurt rather than shaped by the truth of God’s Word. But when we take our offense to the Lord and practice forgiveness, we align ourselves with the truth and are able to discern and see clearly. In Christ, as one body, we have been called to peace. (Colossians 3:15). Let us choose not to fight against someone, but to fight for them in prayer. In doing so, we keep our hearts soft toward others and leave no room for the enemy’s schemes. Psalm 51:10 says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Join me today with a big Amen to that!
